I only just got back home form the hospital. The traffic was terrible and that wasn’t helped by the incredibly inclement weather we’ve been suffering of late! I had gone there to visit my Aunt who has had a minor operation on her leg. When I got to the hospital ward, my Aunt was sitting up in bed and had paper, card and other materials strewn all over the place. “What on earth are you up to?” I asked; “Card Making” she said, “Its been my hobby for many years – it takes my mind off the stresses of everyday life.”

The cards that she had already finished were absolutely beautiful. I had called at the Greeting Card shop on the way to the hospital to buy a get well card for my aunt, but her handmade cards were so superb, I was almost embarrassed to give her the bought card. I think I am definitely going to take up card making as a hobby!
