Paul missed work today because he was sick. He was running a fever of 102F and he stayed in his room the whole day. He was watching tv in his bed, falling in and out of sleep. The tv was on the home shopping network and the guy was selling a Brasilia espresso machine. He got up only to either drink his meds or go to the bathroom. Tina his girlfriend visited him during lunch. She brought with her some hot chicken soup for Paul to eat. She had to go back to work but came back in the afternoon so she could tend to Paul.
