One of the things that infuriate me the most is having to dash to the grocery store because I’ve run out of ingredient to something I am cooking. This is why I make sure that when I make a trip to the grocery, I buy everything I will need. And that includes Jakes pickled asparagus.

There have been many times when while preparing a dish and I needed some asparagus, I will discover that I have none. I’ve no choice but to make the 10-minute drive to the nearest grocery store.

I never liked pickled asparagus, or pickles in general. That is why I don’t understand why each time I bring home a jar of pickled asparagus, the kids empty it out before I can use it. So I tried tasting them. The one I did try was Jake’s pickled asparagus. And boy was I delighted. It was delicious!

Now I know why I always run out of pickled asparagus. The kids like the sweet-sour taste that they eat the stuff right out of the jar. Now that I have learned my lesson, I make it a point to buy at least 5 jars of Jake’s pickled asparagus each time I go to the grocery.
