We had a wonderful family gathering today. I love it when we can get multi-generations under one house for the day.  After lunch, everyone kind of splintered off.  The children were out playing in the yard and climbing the huge tree in the front.  The women were on the porch, chatting and snapping beans picked fresh from the garden and the men were down by the lake smoking their don tomas cigars. After a while, everyone meandered back up to the house and we split open a couple of watermelons outside and the kids had seed spitting contests. Overall, it was just a great day with the family.
