An injury lawyer, injury attorney, accident attorney are legal professionals who have chosen to specialize and practice in the field of personal injury.  They will have a law degree and have passed the state bar examination which allows them to practice law in almost any field, but they will have specifically chosen the area of tort law.  This means that they choose to represent clients who have suffered an injury in an accident that was caused by the negligence of someone else.  Their job is to represent the victim of the accident in negotiation with insurance companies or taking their case to court in order to get them compensation for the injuries they have suffered.
