There are certain marketing campaigns in which companies use free items to give to their customers that display the businesses advertisement.  This is a great way for the company to brand themselves, as well as providing something to their customers that they believe will actually get used.  There are often times items that you will use inside the house, such as calendars, and then there are items that have a much greater impact, such as tote bags.  These bags have the companies brand logo on the side of them, and are often used in the highest traffic areas, like shopping centers, where everybody in the area has a clear view.  This boosts your marketing campaign dramatically.
