When I was mountain climbing in Tibet, I would often reflect on how much pottery was available in such a remote place. How could such a small and remote country turn out such beautiful pottery and at such a low selling price. i guess when you live in Tibet you might not have a whole lot to do except for making fine pottery. I always return to that country for just two things, one is the mountain climbing and the other, of course, is to purchase their fine pottery. I never will tire of any one of those two glorious things.
