The mormon religion has thirteen basic beliefs called The Articles of Faith. We are currently studying these beliefs as a family to help our children become better acquainted with them. I especially appreciate the one discussing how we seek after anything of good report, also declaring how hopeful we are. The mormon religion is a religion of optimism. I think this is even reflected in the design of our buildings.  Rather than dark and dreary, they are full of light, which I think best reflects all the wonderful things about the Gospel. When I think of Christ, I think of light.
