I am always so amazed at what my local community college has to offer. I think that people overlook the courses a lot because they just don’t expect to get anything that is cutting edge. The fact is that they teach all kinds of things. For example, I was able to get Linux certification through the community college. It was much cheaper than I expected and it was endorsed by the major training organization for the operating system. I now have another skill under belt that should help me be more competitive in the job market. All for minimal cost and just a few evenings.
